On Your Bike in 2012
DCC has made cycling a key focus of its work in 2012 and can put you in touch with local cycling resources. The City of Canada Bay with its parks, bays and river ways lends itself to recreational or everyday cycling. Cycling is a great pastime and an inexpensive and healthy way to get around the local area for any age! And don't let fears about negotiating busy streets or falling off stop you. We have some wonderful parks and recreational areas that permit off road cycling where you find (or re-find) your confidence and balance at your own pace.
You can do it alone but you don't have to - you'll find there's lots of support within our cycling community. For a good start try contacting:
- BayBUG, the local bike users group which has a range of local rides for different skill levels. See www.baybug.org.au or call Geoff Ashton (02) 9743 4278 (before 9pm) or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
- DCC contact: Joan Wright 0437 473 310 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Get pedaling in 2012 and enjoy a cyclist's view of the City.
