Yoga & Relaxation
Hatha Yoga is the exercise of physical aspect of Yoga, which combines postures, movement and breath with relaxation and meditation. It was developed hundreds of years ago in India and has since spread throughout the world. This Hatha Yoga program starts on Tuesday, 1 May 2012 from 9:15am till 10:45am. It finishes on 26 June. Led by Jill Waller. Fee program.
Tai Chi for Arthritis
Tai Chi is suitable for beginners and for anyone with arthritis or other health problems. Scientific studies show Tai Chi improves and possibly prevents chronic conditions such as arthritis, heart disease and diabetes. It improves balance and immunity and reduces stress. Term 2 classes will be held at the new Drummoyne Oval Pavilion, starting on Monday 23 April and finishing on 25 June between 10:30am and 11:30am. Class led by Alex Budlevskis. Fee program.
