Drop In Morning Tea
On the first Friday of each month a community morning tea is held between 11am and 12.30pm. Come along and have a cuppa and a chat. The morning tea is free to members, or $2 for non-members. We can organize transport to enable you to attend - just let us know in advance if you require this. The transport cost is $2.

A solicitor is available on the first Tuesday of the month between 5.30pm and 7.30pm if you require legal information. Phone to book a 20 minute appointment.

New to the Area?
If you are a resident new to Drummoyne-Concord-Rhodes let us show you the local area - its services, parks and some history too. Free tours run on two Saturdays each month from 2pm till 4pm. The tours start from either the Drummoyne Community Centre, (13 February), or from Concord Senior Citizens Centre (20 February, 13 & 27 March) and cover the whole of the Local Government Area.

We can send or receive a fax for you, or do your photocopying - all at a reasonable cost.
Hall Hire
Private Functions
Our hall, on the edge of Drummoyne Park and overlooking Five Dock Bay, is available for hire. It caters for up to 100 people and has wheelchair access. The hall can be divided in two for smaller functions. It is frequently used for meetings, classes, birthday parties, anniversaries and luncheons.

Home Shopping
TheĀ Internet Shopping service for residents with health or mobility problems that live in the City of Canada Bay or Burwood Local Government areas will close from January 2010.
Anyone with shopping difficulties can contact Amanda at DCC (Wednesday to Friday) for contact details about local supermarkets where people can phone their grocery order to and have groceries home delivered.
Internet Tuition
Do you want to learn how to use the Internet? We have volunteer tutors who will help you learn the Internet at the Five Dock Library, or at the Concord Library. Anyone interested in learning, or in being a tutor, please phone 9719-8102.
Internet Tutors Wanted
An information session for new volunteer internet tutors will be held on Wednesday 24 February 2010 from 2.30-3.30pm at DCC. Anyone interested in becoming part of this program will need to have at least:
- Basic internet/email skills
- Be available to undertake one on one tutoring at Five Dock and/or Concord Libraries at least one morning a week for at least a 3 month period
- Be available and willing to complete an introductory training program.

Tax Help
Free Tax Help for Low Income Earners
Appointments with ATO trained volunteers are available for low income earners between July and October each year. Three locations are generally available for appointments - Drummoyne Community Centre, Concord Community Centre, or Five Dock Library.
